Unarmed Security Guard Certification Class
A four hour class that meets Tennessee requirements to apply for 2 year unarmed guard card.
Armed Guard Class
A 16 hour, 2 day class to acquire certification to apply for a Tennessee armed guard card. This includes 4 hours at the range and students must bring 50 rounds of ammo for each weapon they wish to qualify with.
Armed Guard Recertification Class
This class when issued a passing grade meets the requirements to renew a students current armed guard card. Four hour class and range time. Students must bring 50 rounds ammo for each weapon they wish to qualify with. Over two weapons extra charges applies.
Less Than Lethal Class (Taser, Baton, Spray & SIDS)
This class meets the Tennessee requirements to carry pepper spray, taser and batons on duty. Students will be exposed to Taser and spray to be certified. Covers in custody death syndrome. Bring old t-shirt to class. Six hours long.
Handcuffs
A two hour class on the details of handcuffing and the liability issues of arrests. Physical class.
Handgun Retention
A four hour class on officers retaining their firearms while on the job. In Tennessee, when officers are shot, 37% are shot with their own handgun. This class is very physical and goes over retention techniques, holster choices and self defense tactics. Four to five hours long .
I D Class
This class is to educate officers on spotting fake, altered and borrowed identification cards and passports. Very important and very interesting. Four hours long.
ABC Alcohol and Drug Training
A four hour class on the spotting, investigations and effects of drugs and alcohol that pertains to the security industry.
Self Defense
Two to eight hours in a karate school with padded floors.
